Her family is from Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a small mining community in Northern Territory), Cairns Australia as well as Jabiru in Switzerland. Nina, her sister Nina also attended schools that included children of First Nations as well as other ethnic groups. Isabel lives within Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was involved in drama from her early high school days. Alongside being a drama student, she took classes in Perdekamp Emotional Method at Queensland University of Technology. Prior to 2002, she had never auditioned. The role she was offered was for the role of Home and Away, 1988. They thought that she was not suitable for the part. However, they were impressed with her performance and awarded Tasha an entirely new character. Her first TV part for three seasons. Her performance was lauded and she won a Logie Award. Isabel moved from London to Los Angeles in 2008. The role that made Isabel popular was her first appearance on screen in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). Since then she has appeared in and been awarded in many US productions as and Australian films. Isabel is currently on the screen in Bosh & Rockit, a movie that's fast becoming a hit in Australia. She also acted in the coming thriller Lunacy. Isabel recently finished Sons of Summer.
